In the name of Allaah, Most Beneficent and Most Merciful
Quran (16:97) Whoever works righteousness, man or woman, and has Faith, verily, to him will We give a new Life, a life that is good and pure and We will bestow on such their reward according to the best of their actions.
Allah Ta’ala is the Creator(Al-Khaliq), Owner(Al-Malik) and Controller(Al-Qadir) of the whole universe. Allah Ta’ala has perfect knowledge (Al-A’leem) and perfect Wisdom (Al-Hakeem). Allah Ta’ala is the Most Beneficient (Ar-Rahman) and Most Merciful (Ar-Rahim). It is Allah’s mercy that Allah gave us Islam through His Habib, Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon him). This deen is mercy for the whole mankind. Allah has given us the complete code of life in the Quran and made Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon him) as a practical example for us. We can look upto Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon him) as example in everything and follow it in our life.
Allah has prescribed many do’s and don’ts in the Quran. The do’s that Allah has ordered us to do are to elevate us, give us honor and to make us lead a pure and pristine life. The Don’ts that Allah has ordered us are to save us from calamities, disasters, trails and tribulations in this life. Ofcourse, Allah has also set rewards for these actions which please Allah in the hereafter. But this deen is the way of life which will lead to success in this life first and in the hereafter later. Any deen (way of life) is not complete if it does not guide us in the life of this world. Islam is complete and is the complete way of life offering guidance in all aspects of this life.
Allah has promised the believers who do righteous deeds a life that is good and pure. Some scholars it is in the hereafter and some say it is in this life as well. Allah promises many good things in this worldly life itself for believers who do righteous deeds and also many rewards in the hereafter.
Allah will open the doors of Barakah (Blessings) from the skies and earth for him.
(Quran) 7:96 If the people of the towns had but believed and feared Allah, We should indeed have opened out to them (All kinds of) blessings from heaven and earth; but they rejected (the truth), and We brought them to book for their misdeeds.
Allah will put love and affection among the people who are obedient to Allah.
(Quran) 19:96 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will ((Allah)) Most Gracious bestow love.
Allah will give peace and tranquility in the heart for the people who remember Him.
(Quran) 13:28 “Those who believe, and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah. for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction.”
Allah will give them dominance over the earth and use them to establish deen on this earth.
(Quran) 24:55 Allah has promised, to those among you who believe and work righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land, inheritance (of power), as He granted it to those before them; that He will establish in authority their religion – the one which He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which they (lived), to one of security and peace: ‘They will worship Me (alone) and not associate aught with Me. ‘If any do reject Faith after this, they are rebellious and wicked.
On the other hand, whoever leads his life away from the commandments of Allah and the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon him) will face lot of problems in this life. Though the person might have all the material comfort but he will lack spiritual contentment (Tranquility in the heart) in his life. His life will lack Barakah (Blessings) as this has been reserved for those who believe and attain Taqwa (Consciousness of Allah). And in the hereafter, he will be doomed and destined to be in the fire of Hell.
(Quran) 20:124 “But whosoever turns away from My Message, verily for him is a life narrowed down, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Judgment.”
To be successful in this life and the hereafter, there is no other way but to lead our life according to the commandments of Allah Ta’ala and the way shown by the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon him).
